BIOS ripping
Hey folks!

Is there any that could describe to me, how to rip a BIOS??

I'm a newbie to this, so detailed please if possible...

It's an Insyde HP BIOS, on a HP Envy 15-j Notebook PC.

I'm looking to rip the BIOS, so I would have the possibility to mod the BIOS, on the long run.
The modd is about unlocking CPU and BUS multipliers.
The BIOS is RSA signed, but I have read on this forum that it can be overcome.
For now I have tried using AFLASH, AFLASH2, AWDFLASH and BUPDATER...

But all of these flashing tools have even failed to load, either because the x64 system, no BIOS file present, or it can't find the BIOS Hook.

Help is appreciated...

How do I check my SP version in the BIOS?

There are non... The BIOS is not released yet...
Bad service from HP.
I have called them about it, and they told me that they are releasing one in the near future, as they are handling some errors.
I suspect though, that the release is way ward off...
