Hello everybody,

I'd like to install a new WLAN module into my HP Pavillion DM1-4000sg but can't because of the whitelist.

Can you try to remove that whitelist from my BIOS, please?

Thanks! That was quick!
Unfortunately it did not work - the system does not boot any more (caps lock LED is flashing upon boot). Will have to restore to the old state and try again.

No luck...

I restored to the old BIOS and tried it over but still with the same result: Screen stays dark and after a while the caps lock LED starts blinking twice, pauses, blinks twice and so forth.

Uploading new patched version now, download again from same link in 5 minutes and test

This one produces the same result, I am afraid. Just about to restore the original BIOS.

Apart: the application does not seem to work as long as the Laptop is able to find a recovery disk (had to rename the recovery partition to "_HP_TOOLS" before the tool did anything. I am sure, everyone knows that already - thought I'd mention it anyway.
