I'm looking for this too! Not sure if it's a difference, but needing the unlocked BIOS for Acer Aspire V3-771G-9875
Hello,

Bios version is now 1.12 (standard Bios - for machine with win7 preloaded) or 2.12 (UEFI - for machines with win8 preloaded) ...

Nobody know if it's possible to load 2.12 "in force" ?

The loader doesn't want it ... (unable to flash v2.xx on v1.xx)

Is it possible to mod bios to do this ?

Thx !

(Sorry for my poor english ... made in France !! lol !! )
Try this. It's the 1.12 BIOS:

Hello,

Thanks for the unlocked BIOS aricat!

Can you please tell me how to flash it? Should I do it from DOS, or could it be done from Windows? And which file do I run?

Also, how safe would it be to use? If the update fails, or if there's something else wrong, could I revert back to the original one? Would the laptop even be able to start/boot?

So, how do you use this, and can I install this over stock 1.12..?!
Search or Google "How to Flash an Insyde BIOS".
The users who Mod BIOS Files (myself at least) assume that you are actually willing to do some research on your own.
I personally don't feel the need to Spoon Feed you that Basic info.
