@FalseClock - I'd like to be able to see the available graphics bios variables for my system. Atm my current os has both loaded simultaneously (IGPU & Discrete GPU) whilst IGPU is the only one in use, therefore causing unnecessary power drain. Would like to either disable discrete GPU or if available disable IGPU. Please could you expose my setup variables via your method and produce a log for me.

Best Regards,

@FalseClock - Wow my board shows an incredible amount of Graphics Options available. Disabling via setup_var 0x193 0x0 resulted in Black Screen, pulling CMOS had no effect and was unable to restore via USB Recovery either. No worries in that respects, I've had to issue it for repair.

If you could glance over your provided setup variables for my 18A5 system, would you assume any other options would of needed enabling/disabling to achieve either...

1) IGPU only (Disabling DGPU)
or Ideally...
2) Disabling IGPU (DGPU Only)

My intention was for a fixed graphics mode, rather then dynamic/switchable in the hope of being able to POST with and use DGPU ideally.
After reviewing it looks's like Varstore "0x1e6" is responsible, however I've no idea what GPU would remain active toggling to "0x0". Thoughts?

Edit: I probably should of used the following:

"0x1e6 0x0"
"0x192 0x3" or "0x1"
"0x196 0x1"

Many thanks for decompiling this BIOS, is greatly appreciated.

Falseclock, I see that you have a laptop that use sp61457.exe bios.

Can you please share with me the .log file to see what video options we have?

Thanks
