Hello! Well my laptop (acer aspire v3-551) has a nice cpu. But I want to overclock it but I think the motherboard is preventing this.
I don't know how you guys do it. I'd try if I knew how but can you unlock this bios?

Just wondering if you could unlock this bios for me. I want to overclock this laptop so it can play games slightly better.

- I'm most sure that the bios is not RSA signed. When I opened it in phoenix tools it didn't say anything about decrypting, all though i could be wrong but I understand the risks.

I need an Unlocked Version of this Bios with Advanded and Power Menu To Overclock and change some Fan settings and other stuff, Acer Blocks 99% of this bios so ...
If it's Unlocked already i'm sorry, i couldn't find it

It Say's 1.03 in the screenshot but i updated it to 1.07 yesterday ..

Lol I know it sound kind of bad, but I'm always more willing to help out those who offer money. I think if more people did this then there'd be a lot less unanswered requests

Can you try this. It might unlock two hidden tabs, do nothing, or brick your computer. So make sure you know how to recover just in case.

I've been experimenting with more modular ways of unlocking hidden tabs, and this is one of the most promising. If it doesn't work then I can easily replace the existing tabs with hidden ones if you want.

And your most likely not going to get any overclocking options apart from changing the ram speed. You'll probably be able to change fan settings though
