Thanks!
Its been discovered that the retail ABIT bios which we loaded onto the HP Nettle 2 boards also works on some Acer machines including the E380 / T180 because they use a really similar OEM motherboard.

Read the following thread for all the info

Not to hijack the thread or anything but does this modded bios allow the MB to support more than 4gb of RAM?
I got a "This program file's lock string does not match your system" when following your instructions on my Acer T180.
none of the threads with unlocked t180 bios' are working for me

with the "Acer Aspire T180 With OC 1234s282" thread and download all of the seemingly unlocked bios options are available on boot

however the HTT reference clock cannot be modified.

CPU-z always shows a reference clock of 200.9

i can lower CPU multipliers and cpu-z will find it.

I can change Memory clock to a LIMIT 400 533? 667 or 800 and cpuz will find it.

i can change HTT multiplier and cpuz will see it.

the reference clock wont move..

I have tried shutting down and unplugging and holding power button 20+ seconds... that didnt werk either.

honestly i think its vista/7.....

only clear bios jumper is available.

if anyone knows anything I would appreciate it.
