Hello. I've been searching through many forums trying to find an unlocked BIOS to obtain access to AHCI options for my mobo, but with no success.

Here is the download link to my BIOS:

Let me know if I need to post some files. Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately the Geforce 6150/nforce 430a chipset doesn't seem to support AHCI. As far as I know AHCI support appeared starting from Geforce 7025/ nForce 630a.
I didn't see it in the BIOS, but this driver claims ACHI?

That's what I was saying. I don't know why there are AHCI drivers when the BIOS doesn't even support it.

So, if there is no AHCI in the BIOS, are there even any hidden options?

Thanks in advance!

I'm doing a bit more research but there are definitely no hidden optios for AHCI, I have parsed al of the strings in the BIOS and found none. Let me see if I can find anything difinitive about the issue.

Warm Regards,

Update: Have you tried putting in a spare drive with a clean OS with the AHCI drivers at the bottom of this page? Does it switch to AHCI after installing the driver?

No I haven't tried. But I will definetely try.

So I downloaded the SATA AHCI drivers from the official site for my OS, I extracted the zip and obtained some .dll and .sys files.
The drivers didn't install by themselves.
