BIOS: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/gb/en/downl...n-e32-p300
I've attached the microcode for the CPU.
I got the BIOS, and added the microcode with "MMTool Aptio", but attempting to flash the BIOS I had an error "Secure flash rom verify fail".
I'm not entirely sure what this means, but I presume it's something to do with the tool itself saving it as unsigned? Either way, if possible would you be able to add it for me or point me to the option(s) I should do next? I had saw something to do with needing to potentially unlock the BIOS, and perhaps having to use a SPI programmer.
The CPU itself does work - however I would imagine having microcode would be of help assuming it works for an adapted BGA-to-LGA CPU.
Thanks!
EDIT: No longer needed. It seems like flashing the latest bios on top of it already being latest, while usually works, did not for me. I ended up downgrading to the prior one, and reflashing the latest and somehow ended up with a recent microcode for the CPU (a few months older than latest but it's good enough).
Feel free to delete/mark as solved!
