Hi I am trying to get VT vitalization working so I can boot up PelicanHPC a Debian based Linux distro which works on multiple cores.
It's a Aspire V3-771_0686_2.21 System SKU Intel i5-3330M processor with 2 cores and 4 threads.
SMBIOS version 2.7
It says that
Hyper-V VM Monitor Mode Extensions is enabled Yes
Hyper-V Second Layer Address Translalations Extension Yes
Hyper-V Virtualizaiton Enabled Yes
Hyper-V Data Execution Protection Yes

How would I go about changing the Bios or doing a dump to have it modified.

Hi, have a dell 1121 with corrupt bios, have uploaded a new one from dell site http://downloads.dell.com/bios/R289367.exe but can convert the .exe to .rom please help.

I recently bought a HP Pavilion 17-e021sq Laptop (with Insyde bios).
The laptop has an integrated Intel graphics card and a Radeon HD dedicated. I can't make it run on my Radeon, with all the drivers in the world. I know it is supposed to change from one card to another depending on what I run (via Configure Switchable Graphics). The problem is... IT DOESN'T WORK! Every time I try to run a game in high performance (so on my Radeon) the screen goes black once the game opens, without even showing me the logo or the menu or anything. That's why I want to disable my Intel card from my bios so the laptop would use the Radeon by default, whatever I run. I tried to disable the Intel card from Device Manager, but every time I do it the screen glitches, I can only see weird color patterns and can't do anything other than force shut down via power button. After I start the laptop again, the Intel card is not disabled any more. Rinse and repeat.

So... is it possible I can disable my integrated graphics card from my bios (I can't do that at the moment, I have a (very) limited amount of things I can see or change in my bios)?

Hello folks!

I'm new to this site, so bare with my mistakes...

OT:
I have a an HP Envy 15-j118so 15.6" laptop and an Insyde UEFI BIOS inside.
I want to be able to under-/over-clock the CPU, mainly because I want to be able to under-volt the CPU, and thereby under-clock it.

For now, the BIOS clock options are locked, so is there anyone able to help me out enabling the clock options??
