Bad news!
Bios chip is rewrite protected!
Mod can be flashed using two ways:
1)SPI PGM+Pomona SOIC8 clip
2)Recovery mode
however we dont know recovery name
You must contact to support and ask them about this name.
You can tell him you bricked laptop after bad flash from official site.
Hope they have solution or use SPI PGM like this man

Your laptops have same Intel utility,locking code and hidden tabs.

I phoned Acer technical support today and asked about this issue. They didn't give me solution right away but they said that they will contact me back as soon as they can, so I'm expecting it to be tomorrow. Anyways, just in case I don't get anything useful from Acer I was browsing through SPI PGM + pomona SOIC8 clips.

These are my options.

USB Programmer CH341A

and

SOIC8 SOP8 test clip




can you confirm for me that these items are what I need to flash my bios in this case?

I didn't see any mentions of drivers, which troubles me. Is there some universal program which I use to flash my bios chip?

Contact seller and ask him if programmer+Clip support that bios chip IS25LP064 (8 Mb size).Espionage724 have another bios chip so you may need another programmer.
If you get/buy compatible tools, i can do same job like for Espionage724

I have already lost my guarantee. I had to disassemble my laptop when I upgraded my Wi-Fi card to newer.
Second computer is not problem, I got 2 laptops.

No, you can get, because dumps of results and full firmware are different.
You need read bios chip's content and upload it here so i can modify it!

I got the tools today, but unfortunately they were not compatible with my bios chip. Even though the seller confirmed them to be compatible. So I might need some help with finding compatible tools for this matter.

Most cheap programmers like ch341a not support all chips especially if it have another producer.
It seems you need solder station get access to bios chip.
Universal programmer TSL866A may accept many types of bios chips, however it is expensive.
So software of programmer cannot detect current bios chip or it is not available in list?

Software is not able to detect the chip and I cannot see the chip in lists.
When read the chip it just displays random data and it is different every time.
Do you mean TL866A? I need to be 100% that it supports my chip before ordering 60e device. Student life..
