[REQUEST] Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-52 BIOS Unlock

Any chance for an Unlock of the latest BIOS for the new Acer Predator Helios (PH315-52)? What is a reasonable donation for a new MOD like this? I don't have a lot to spare after scrounging up the money for this laptop, but I can put something together.

In any case, this will probably be a very popular laptop this year. Shocking how simple the default BIOS is.

Model name is Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-52, this is new 2019 model with 9750H cpu and 1660ti gpu

I made dump using programmer CH341A and clip tool through the windows app CH341A Programmer ver. 1.18

Bios chip is Winbond 25Q80EWNIG, Bios setup utility is InsydeH20 Rev. 5.0

Dump is attached

The only thing, please advise. It was set a supervisor password (i e password you need to put when accessing a bios) and I forgot to remove it before the dump. Won’t it prevent anything? And will it be kept the same after modifying? I can re-dump again without password but I need to assemble cooling system back, please let me know how is better

Also, the stock BIOS does not seem to have Boot Mode: Legacy. Actually there is no Boot Mode at all. Does this mean the BIOS has hidden the option from us or the motherboard supports only UEFI ? Could you make an unlocked BIOS with that option?

Can someone help me I have Acer Helios 300 PH315-52 with dead bios chip.


I found new chip on ebay but now what is going to happen if I solder blank chip? 

I dont have back up off old BIOS 

Can I flash some ones Back up or I need new motherboard?

Hey all not sure if this is still an active thread but im trying to get my bios unlocked like everyone else i purchased the tool and clip  i have  a acer ph315-52  not really understanding how to connect the clip  to my mother board and get the dump file yoou guys need ... i get i have to dismantle my laptop and get another computer but all the guides i have read confuse  and frustraate me. I am more than willing to pay for someones time and effort if  they have  it just name your price.

I got a CH341a and Clip y read the chip, can anyone help to know what exactly I need to load to the bios chip.
