Ok friend,
FPT (Intel tool is the best one) from CLI run this comand :

fptw.exe -d bios.bin -bios (32 Bits)

fptw64.exe -d bios.bin -bios (32 Bits)

then upload file here !
Regards

P.S. option are meny but -d = Read Region -f = Write Region -bios = Region Bios !

Please upload for me this version complete if You got as I have only Dos !

Unfortunately I was unable to flash the modded BIOS. After initially trying and failing within Windows due to protected registers, I tried in DOS after running both PRR and PRR2, which still failed. PRR ran without errors, but PRR2 said it was unable to unlock the protected registers. What next?

Use WinFlash32.exe or WinFlash64.exe to get a Bios Backup Phoenix Status and upload It here for me !
I will try to look better the form of It as pflash failed too !

The attached file didn't work (same SMI communication error as the first try we had). I downloaded the official Lenovo BIOS updater and used WinFlash64 to get a BIOS backup... which looks to be 4MB again! Here it is: https://www.sendspace.com/file/i87ba1

It looks like I can pass the official bios to WinFlash64 without it crashing (it crashes on your modified BIOS that was 6MB)... we could give that a shot? It looks like an official BIOS is uploaded to firmware somewhere; the laptop then reboots and flashes in what looks like an EFI mode. Thoughts?

Yes is true and We tried to do the same using Pflash.exe with efi module !
But It gave always same error "Not found the Phoenix flash SMI communication area!".
Pflash.exe is a Phoenix UEFI Bios tool for any CPU (Intel/AMD), I checked your
Bios and It don't support SMI functions, so cannot use Pflash and We cannot
bypass the Signature Check !
Idem for Intel FPT as prr.exe cannot bypass Error 28 !
So better thing is to use an SPIPGM, I am sorry !

I can get access to a chip programmer, sure. What would I flash to it, though? Sorry to ask more questions, but I'm definitely willing to give it a shot (and learn more!).
