Hi I've searched these and other forums for a solution but unfortunatelly I haven't found a solution/working file link.
My laptop is HP Pavilion G7-1315sw (Running Windows 10 64-bit of course)
http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/self...el/5287815
I bought RALINK RT3090BC4 which is 150mbps, has Bluetooth 3.0 and it's pretty efficient compared to my current REALTEK which I think must be a VERY-low-end Wi-Fi card because it halves my battery life-time when enabled (if only halved..)
I would buy the recommended cards if there were any available in my country ... I don't want to buy online internationally, I hope you get the point.
Two days ago I bought this card so I can use my Bluetooth HeadSet with the laptop. Of course you know what went wrong ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ BIOS whitelist ...
My current BIOS version is F.6A and I'm looking for unlocked [easy way to unlock] wireless card version.
There is a release of sp57396.exe that fits as I suppose, unfortunatelly the link on these forums is dead, at least for me ... This is the list of BIOS information I could gather about my laptop. I hope anything of it helps. I don't know much about flashing BIOS but I learn quickly so there shouldn't be much of a problem in this case ...
Bios Versions:
F43 / sp55442.exe
F44 / sp55668.exe
F46 / sp56404.exe
F52 / sp57396.exe
F53 / sp59792.exe
F.6A / sp62234.exe
ID is 3569 / and as I've read already on a thread with a dead link "...
From 3562 to 3569 get Bios 03564F43.bin..." yet I'm not certainly sure if that thread would fit my laptop ... And there was some signature issue mentioned
there too.
What might help (or actually might be useless too) is that the card has a sticker on it "Replace with HP spare 602992-001 ; [BARCODE] ; 8K10c0"
If anyone could help me I would be very greatfull. I looked for methods of disabling whitelist check but all of these seemed too complicated for me and I felt like I'm missing some knowledge required to do this. Neither adding the ra-link card would work because no matter how many times I insert the card after powering up the laptop - my OS doesn't see it plugged in and I can't check it's version :/ So I'm pretty much stuck with nothing ...
