The previous whitelist request was placed in the wrong section of the forum so I hope this thread would help others who wanted to use diy eGPU that this bios allows. I'm ordering the X220 tomorrow and would like to be able to whitelist the bios soon. Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately it does not work.

It fails with: "the process does not recognize this system. the utility process has not completed."

Anti-Theft & Computrace features were disabled in the BIOS before the flash attempt.

Yes 1.25 works for me too, I am using an atheros card. One complication - I had Diagnostic Boot set before the flash, and it got stuck in a POST loop after programming. I had to cold boot and press F1 repeatedly and then select Quick Boot instead. Now it POSTs twice but eventually boots to grub. I tried loading defaults too. A minor inconvenience, but worth it for a working de-whitelist.
