Hello Sirs,
First of all, thanks for the mod, it worked for me, in a way, however, I may need some assistance: I have an X220 with hungarian keyboard layout. I did everything as was described here:
http://x220.mcdonnelltech.com/resources/
Exactly:
- tried to install "original" BIOS: the installer said I already have the latest one, so I went to step2:
- installed the modified one: the process completed perfectly
- entered BIOS setup: found the "Advanced" menu, hooray, it worked
Now I have two problems:
1. The keyboard layout seems to have gone crazy: for "klm" keys the notebook types "123" and so on. I have Win10 installed, and have an USB keyboard connected (that's what I'm typing from now") However it's still irritating that the "normal" notebook keyboard layout changed. Is there an easy fix to that? I have tried "Advanced" menu from BIOS where I have two options: "US", and "CUSTOMER". The default was US, I changed it to "CUSTOMER" but it does not solve anything.
2. I have installed an AzureWave Broadcom BCM94352HMB AW-CE123H module in place of the original WiFi card. The WiFi works like a charm, my download and upload speeds are racing. However, it should also have Bluetooth 4.0 on this card, which I can't get to work with any drivers. My device manager sais "This device cannot start. (Code 10)". Is there a way to make it work? Strangely, I can connect my phone to the notebook with bluetooth, but the first entry in my device manager under "Bluetooth" that sais "Bluetooth Module" has an exclamation mark under it, and the properties say:
Device type: Bluetooth,
Manufacturer: Broadcom
Location: Port_#0003.Hub_#0005
Device status:
"This device cannot start. (Code 10)
{Operation Failed}
The requested operation was unsuccessful"
Any help is deeply appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
