[REQUEST] HP Pavilion dv6-6000 (Intel) Whitelist Removal
#1
Hello,

i bought a HP dv6-6003eg, nice notebook with Intel HM65 Express Chipset.

unfortunately the network card "Broadcom 4313" stucks at 72mbit in my 300mbit wlan.

i would like to replace that chip with "Intel 5150 512ANX WIFI WiMAX"

1. Is this possible?

2. Do i have to remove the whistelists from the Bios?

3. (If 1. and 2. true) Is there a tool for easy removing this whitelist?

4. or, can someone remove this whitelist from my bios?

bios link: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp52001-52500/sp52412.exe

thanks in advance

and sorry for my unawareness

best regards

Camiloml hast worked on this version and uploaded it to his fileshare folder..

"Moncapullo" Shared Files / Mod Bios / Test and corfirmation pending, FIND HERE / Consider donating if you like my work / rampi_dv6-6071eo_NWL_MenusUlkd_sp53216_By_Camiloml.exe

this version is exacly the same file and BIOS version i have.
Does this version work for me? (or is the process different for each device id)
i would do anything if anyone helps me to fix my bios.
a donation is of course!

My built in WLAN Chip: Broadcom 4313 802.11 b/g/n only support 65mbit! Streaming and things like that is impossible. Sometimes it connects with only 2mbit. often disconnects.

HP WLAN standard N!

please help! "(

a time ago, when i was trying to install macOS on my dv6... and had to do many hardreset..and after a time there was a bug.. the system doesn´t shutdown properly.

the display is black, and the keyboard light was still on.. he does not finishing the shutdown.

after i took out the bios battery for a few sec, everything was fine. (he finished the shutdown properly!)

with this BIOS Version, when im trying to make some changes (like to disable LPM), or simply change time... save the BIOS and Exit.

the system freeze with black screen keyboard light is still on.... no reaktion... still no reaktion after hardreset - black screen.

after took out the BIOS batterym it starts/boots properly.

must I be worried about my Notebook? (That theres a physical problem)
or are these know problems with this "light unstable hp BIOS".

Finally i was able to make the changes in the BIOS:

+Saved it with no Exit.
+Exit discarged changes.

System Boots normal....

anyone have similar problems observed?
