The solution to my problem was to turn off Data Execution Prevention (DEP) for WinFlash. Once I did that the modified BIOS flashed properly and I'm now up and running with an Intel 7260ac.

Can anyone help? I can provide the WINFLASH.LOG file if necessary. System is a Lenovo Ideapad S205, AMD E-450 APU 1.65GHz, 8GB RAM, 128GB Samsung 830 SSD, Windows 7 Home Premium x64 SP1 with all the latest updates. Could this be a simple 32/64 bit driver incompatibility? Many thanks!
