Hi,
I'm new with this forum that I found very helpful for many topics. Maybe you can help to solve my problen. I have a HP mini 110 laptop and I want to use it only with a VGA external screen (no flat panel using LVDS connector) connected to the VGA port. Currently the VGA screen is working only after Windows has been loaded (this is because the VGA driver are loaded by the OS). I assume I have to change the BIOS to load or activate VGA driver at boot time so that VGA can start working immediately (before OS is loaded). I have a backup copy of the BIOS (AMI F.19) and I've seen there is a PCI option ROM for deviceID: 27AE (is this for VGA ???)
Should I activate anything in th BIOS to make the VGA working ? or do I need to add/change a PCI option ROM ?
Thanks a lot for any help you can provide me.
Alan
