1) can you USB flash when the boot options in the bios do not give a "removable device" boot up option?

2) Will an external usb floppy drive boot up as "Floppy" on boot options or is it only going to work with floppy drive internal to the system?

3) If I already swapped out the cpu and cannot flash should I put the old cpu (original) back in and try to flash with the mod file/upgrade file?

Should I have flashed before swapping the cpu's?

4) What is "ABIT" bios? Does it relate to Phoenix?
Can I flash Phoenix with ABIT fixes?
What bios should I look at when my bios says Phoenix Award?

5) Will a "cpu not supported message" after attempting to flash a bios not allow for me to get into DOS? I am having trouble getting into DOS?

These may seem like silly questions but answers to these would help a lot.
Thanks.

You can use a cd with Plop Boot Manager to boot from usb devices.
