Hi, hope anyone can help me.
I own a lenovo b560 and a g470, the sleep light will blink when I go to sleeping mode, anyway the problem is not the light, the problem is the whining sound it produces the power adapter when the light start blinking, in both machines I hear that whining noise, but in the g470 is much louder, I don´t know why this is happening, the strange thing is that both adapters make the noise when I sleep the laptop, when I turn off or hibernate the whining sound disappear from the ac adapter.
Also, I notice that the whining sound alternate in 2 types of sounds, one is high in pitch and the other lower, the high pitch is when the blinking light turn on when go to sleep and the lower pitch of the sound is when the light go off, and that is repeating until I resume the laptop, it´s very annoying, especially when I´m in a quiet room.
So my theory is that maybe somehow I can turn off the blinking light somewhere from the bios hidden options(if they exist) and maybe the whining sound will go away, but I don´t know, it´s only an a idea.
I have installed the more recently bios for both systems.
Any help will be appreciated.
