Hi I replaced my notebook m/board with a Argo C DA0PL1MB6D2 EasyNote MZ35 Packard Bell this is supposed to support 2Gb ram it does not, reflashed bios with latest version still no go only 1 gb,i did get it to see 2gb in the bios and boot into XP for a minute then blue screen.

My notebook is not Packard Bell it is PL5 Quanta Argo C2 7425010000 DA0PL5MB6B0 Rev:B the same chassis m/b shape and spec as PBell MZ35 I relaced the new Packard Bell with a updated bios for the orig m/board Q3c11

This wont boot black screen with 2 x 1gb = 2gb ram, it runs perfectly with ony 1gb. Is this bios or motherboard limitation. The m/b specs show it supporting 2Gb.

Well it depends on the configuration. Does it support 2gb on one slot or 1gb per slot, giving you two slots?
