When opening bios in ezH20 2.1.0.13
i can see alot of choices in Setup menu that i cant see when entering bios,
so does this mean i got the info in bios but its just disabled?
i have read some threads where i think i read that in some bioses they have compleatly removed parts that you cant see in bios.
But if i can see it all modules must be there but needs to be activated, is this correct?

when running j bios tool i get posibly restore name: UP8X64.fd .. after some testing the correct restore name was: 3635.BIN
will try restore from usb with original bios to see if that part works to be sure i can flash custom or perhaps moded bios :p

Im realy stuck here have tryed to run dual os for 5 days now, but i cant install windows xp,
i always get bluescreen when running xp install, dont fint propper drivers to make custom winxp isntall with nlite.
is there a way to try change sata mode in bios?

did try to hex compare bios files patched by Jakob Heinemann
he had this info: "Diagnostics" and "Security" replaced with "Power" and "Advanced",

dont know what model it's for, but was hoping i could find some difrences in the patched bios
but sadly the patched bios is almost totaly difrent =/

Can i try replace/remove Diagnostics and Security with ezh2o2?
and just try insert Power and Advanced functions?
but where can i find modules for ezh2o2?

in my bios i have
FV00 - 0x22000 size 17c000 bytes
FV01 - 0x1A000 size e000 bytes
FV02 - 0x1B000 size 50000 bytes

how any hint how know what parts that are diagnostics and security ?

i have a extra mini pci-e slot that are not used, since a already got a wifi this is probably for something else, can it be for 3g cards?
do anyone know where i can find hardware id for a 100% compatible card to my dv6-2134eo?
in case i need to patch bios to work with the raid card =)

Hi again!
Finaly got all parts to try adding raid 0 on my DV6

When i did plugin raid controller i didnt get any error of unsuported device by HP.
But i never see raid bios menu at boot.

Does the bios need to be moded?

As seen in this image, raid controller is accepted by computer.


Note! the ssd disks is connected to regular hdd connector on mainboard, and one on dvd connector using a dvd to hdd adapter.
When/if i can access raid controller i will connect sata cables from raid controller to the hdds.
