Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

this is my first post i hope i am doing this right

the problem is that i get this error message:
"SMART Failure Predicted on Hard Disk 0: blah
WARNING: Immediately back-up your data and replace your hard disk drive. A failure may be imminent.
Press F1 to Continue"

the thing is that pressing F1 does not do anything (Fn+F1) and i am not booting from that drive anyways. but unless i disable the device in the bios it is impossible to boot from usb to run some disk tools.
