Wasn't sure where to post. A few years ago I got a nice little sony vaio ux in a trade. It's always bothered me that the bios is password-protected though, and there's things I've been wanting to tamper with in there. The old owner didnt know the password. Using default pheonix bios passwords didnt work at all. Removing the cmos battery and all other forms of power doesnt work either. The bios settings seem to be stored on non-volatile memory. If abybody knows of any way to remove the bios password, I would greatly appreciate it. Its a peonix bios, dont know which version. Also wondering if flashing the bios would remove the password. Thanks for any help! If additional info is needed, please ask.
