I would like to enable UEFI booting (and possibly the advanced menu).
Here are the files created by the Dell BIOS updating utility. BIOS1.WPH is under bios/WinFlash/BIOS1.WPH
Use CodeRush's PMPatch 0.5.5 utility: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?o8b6jd7qfdxu7ke It was coded with the knowledge about Phoenix SCT we have gained over the past couple of months. IIRC your 14R is a twin brother of Vostro 3450, they even have the same motherboards.

Thanks for the help. I ran the program using Wine; does the output look okay?
Code:
$  wine PMPatch.exe WinFlash/BIOS1.WPH out.wph
fixme:heap:HeapSetInformation (nil) 1 (nil) 0
PMPatch 0.5.5
PowerManagement module not found.
Nested PowerManagement module not found.
Nested PlatformSetupAdvancedDxe.efi at 006C6F60 patched.
Nested PowerManagement2.efi module at 001800F8 patched.
Dell RAW file checksums corrected.
CpuPei module not found.
I just want to be sure that I'm not going to brick my motherboard.

Edit; Also, opening the .wph file in the Phoenix BIOS Editor produces an error, is this normal? The error is that it thinks the file is bigger than expected.
Edit2: Do I need to be running this on the .wph file, or the actual updater .exe?
You can run it on both, the exe or the extracted wph. Also you can compile a native app because its opensource. Phoenixtool of latest version often misinterpretates the compression, try using v2.02. If you brick, we have found a crisis recovery method so you are safe even in a worst case scenario.

P.S. if you were trying to use old Phoenix BIOS editor the error is expected - this software is not meant for uefi bioses.

P.S.S. The output is ok.
