Hi BIOS gurus!

I would like to get some help on my motherboard Blush
The motherboard is based on nForce 630a / 7025 (MCP68S) so in theory it should/could(?) support AHCI mode, but it is not available in the BIOS settings, SATA controller mode is only switchable beetween IDE / RAID modes. Browsing the strings of the BIOS with AMIBCP3.46 revealed that there is also a "Native" mode but i don't know how to make it available in the BIOS. Could someone please point me to a walkthrough how i could try to make this myself, or would maybe someone take some time and modify the BIOS for me ?

Thank you very much in advance!

The BIOS file in question is available from here:

Other versions are avaialable here if v1.40 is hard to modify:

Regarding Antinomy's post here: http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-Re...e-you-post
The nForce 630a is not listed in either the AHCI supported or the unsupported list...

I also haven't found and technical specification or data sheet on the nForce 630a (MCP68S) to wheter it could or could not support AHCI.
Could someone please shed light on this?

Also other solution may be, that it has NVIDIA MediaShield RAID BIOS option rom. Does somebody maybe know of such a MediaShield option ROM that supports AHCI mode, and can be used as JBOD (so i could simply use the SSD as a single hard disk as in IDE mode) and boot off the RAID ?
