I am not sure if this is the right category for my problem. If not please move this thread to the right forum.

"Older" Lenovo laptops seem to have a problem with new Samsung SSDs combined with an ATA-/BIOS-password. If you use a Samsung 830 or Samsung 840 in your Lenovo T500 or W500 and then set a BIOS-/ATA-password, then every time at boot up you will hear two loud beeps and get the following message:
Quote:ERROR
0200: Failure Fixed Disk 0

Press to Setup
It is possible to hit ESC then and the laptop boots normally. But this is very annoying - hear loud beeps every (re)boot and you always have to press ESC to continue booting.

Is it possible to remove ERROR 0200 and just skip it?
