Hello, as curious as I am, I would like to ask a little help. It is not entirely a request a mod to certain bios but to sort out few things
The problem:
Ram in my UX32A is 1600mhz, but runs and 1333, and I think the problem is my i3 2367M
What if there could be way to use full potential of ram and also increase the power of integrated HD3000?
The idea:
Mod the BIOS, since there seems to be no other way to change the settings regarding to memory.
What I did:
Dumped the BIOS, opened with AMIBCP, and found that there are settings for memory
What I also found out is that the "Chipset" area cannot be set to be visible in BIOS using the AMIBCP
Now here are my questions:
1.If I set the values in AMIBCP to 1600 and flash my bios, should it apply my changes? Because I tried, and it did not seem to apply.
2.How should I go about making the RAM work on 1600?
3.Is there a way to make the "Chipset" tab visible in BIOS?
Thanks in advance
