Hi, first of all I did not know where to post this and I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum section.

I have been looking for an unlocked Clevo m860tu BIOS v1.02.17 and found this thread: http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-Cl...ck-request
where apparently someone with the same BIOS already requested an unlock. I know that updating a BIOS is a extremely delicate process and I ofcourse want to make 100% sure that its the BIOS I need because I do know that there are also slightly different BIOS for Sager Branded notebooks and I better want to be safe than sorry.

Anyway I am currently running the clevo m860tu phoenix BIOS v1.02.17, which I updated all the way from v 0.13 about 1 year ago to enable Win7 support.
This my current BIOS: http://www.mediafire.com/?l2fsuwvk5yr10b0

I would like to know if the following BIOS:
http://www.bios-mods.com/forum/attachment.php?aid=2712
(see thread above for more info) would also correspond to the unlocked version of mine.

My second question would be, If I just have to flash the unlocked BIOS v1.02.17 ontop of the locked BIOS v1.02.17 by running step1.bat and then step2.bat or if there is something else to do.

Mainly I need the unlocked BIOS because I'm experiencing with hard crashes related to the VGA frequencies (when running at stock clocks). One possible cause could be due to power which may be possible to adjust with the advanced bios features.

Thanks and regards,
skavee
