Full Version: BIOS update suddenly not detecting SATA HDD

I installed the modded bios for the Acer t180 that allows me to overclock. It was working fine, could detect all my HDDs, but when I finished configuring settings and restarted the computer it could only detect my two IDE HDDs and the two SATA ones were gone. Restarted a few times, unplugged AC cord and replugged, but still same thing.

Is this a BIOS problem? Did my hard disks just die somehow (unlikely)?

Help appreciated!

Actually false alarm, I fixed it by resetting BIOS settings.

strange. must have changed a wrong setting by accident.
Glad you were able to get it resolved. Please open a new thread if something pops up again!
