is this safe to try? i have Xeon 5462 on G41MT-S2PT but sadly i'm locked to 7 FID.

never mind! i tired unlocking it myself with modbin6 but the bios absolutely refuses to update insisting it's "invalid image" i even tried flashing from dos but keep getting the same message! i give up

memmud, what exactly you try change in the setting menu, to get higher FID if cpu Xeon E5462 has a maximum multiplier of 7 hardware ?

I have a Core 2 Quad Q8200 I have been trying to overclock for a while.

Gigabyte does not usually hide very much, what do you think you are missing? I checked, everything looks enabled, but I can't see your BIOS so hard to be 100% sure.
