Hi everyone!
The is already a bios free of a whitelist for this laptop, the version of the bios is 1.16 (8PET34WW). However, after spending 5 days on it I'm still unable to use the proposed update.
I write here as I searched this forum and found similar questions in different topics, but none was answered...
When trying to flash the image with WINFLASH.EXE it always fails with "Can not launch the UEFI emulator". The log file contains the line:
"can not open new bios file sec stack", even when I just run it to do a backup. This happens on both Win XP x32 and Win 7 x32 (both booted from LiveCD), and with WINFLASH 1.5.43 as well as with 1.4.xx.
It's not possible to use the WINUTP.EXE because it does not want to update with the same version... Please please please! If anyone knows a workaround, write it here! I think lots of people have the same problem..
