I am getting ready to get a Gateway GT5458E desktop and looking for a CPU support list n possably a BIOS update. It's got a Dual Core 2.4 Ghz Athlon 64 X2 4600+. Now I noticed its got a max of 2Gb RAM & I want to Put in a 3.0 Ghz Athlon X2 6000+ cpu, but don't know if it supports it or not and want to possbly add more then 2 Gb RAM, and figured maybe a BIOS update can be done to support more RAM & my 3.0 Ghz processor if it don't already support it.
