hello i´m new in the forum
i´m facing a problem with this computer
the bios is in is original F20
it cames with winvista business 32bit and the bios was F10
before i i´ve checked the hard disk for any kind of problems with hdd regenerator and had 8 or 9 delays i cant remember now
i´ve updated to this bios without any problems after i instaled win 8 and was running well
but i still had one driver missing amt intel, updated the driver and now wont boot says "1782 - disk controler failure - run startup check"
maybe a problem with the hard drive, isn't detected anymore on the bios
maybe the flex that connects the hdd to the motherboard
or maybe this original F20 bios from HP doenst work with the win 8 after the amt update driver maybe it needs a moded bios that i cant find anywere
i´ve already bouth a new flex from ebay.fr but havent arrived yet
can you tell me what do you think about this
in case i need a moded bios can you provide me one or how can i build one myself
