All the links in this thread are dead or restricted and the T510 bios in the local repository is the stock manufacturer 1.52 version (no whitelist removal)
Is there any chance of resurrecting one of the older links into the local repo?
Thanks

Hi there,
quite a long time since the last post. Not sure what is going on?
I have a Lenovo T510i.
It still does a better job with upgraded ram, an ssd and linux than current average windows notebooks I tried (usecase: compile iot device firmware with platformio).
So I would like to continue using it, but with better WLAN than good old centrino 1000.
* I learned that lenovo blocks me from using this upgrade - not good, lenovo!
* I compiled the no1802 program to set the cmos bit - bit is set - notebook still blocks boot with new wlan card. So I reset the bit.
* I downgraded and re-upgraded my bios to the bios linked in the previous post as it said "don't worry, no whitelist". - but it still blocks with 1802
So, noone needs this anymore? Is there something I missed? How is this done nowadays?
Certainly my next notebook will not be a Lenovo if this can't be fixed...
