Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

Can anyone pls mod this Bios:

your image must be pcx, 1024x768@256 colors

I read this topic, but everytime when i try to convert the Image to 256 colors my PC crash.

Edite: Ok i thing it works with the picture. But i have three question.

1. It does not matter whether I use the modified bios from the thread or the original?

2. Have I done everything right?

3. I have installed the modded Bios and i want to flash the same with a new Boot Screen, should i flash the original before i use the new Bios?

I see the Links doesn´t work. I fixed it.

If take the flash goes wrong, how could I restore my bios?
Sry I'm still unsure because I think I made a mistake.
