Unfortunately the new wlan card was defective, so will have to exchange it before I can test the whitelist-removal.
I have flashed the bios and it's working fine, so that is good, but I will have to get back to you on the whitelist-removal.

Today I finally recieved the replacement wlan card. I'm happy to say that it is working perfectly with my non-Lenovo Intel 6205 card.

So I guess you can change this to a confirmed bios-mod.
