I flashed a mod (described here: http://forums.mydigitallife.info/showthr...p?p=216012) that mostly works except that I can't get into bios setup. The key for bios setup now brings up some "MediaShield ROM BIOS 6.33" text instead of going into bios setup.
I could easily just re-flash from dos, except the bios defaults with flash-protect enabled.
The force switch doesn't help. Recovery doesn't help. Is there some way to get into setup from dos? Is there some other way to set the cmos to turn the flash-protect off?
