after removing the HDD and User passwords by replacing with blank fields in the bios , i can no longer boot ... after turning on i now get asked for 'enter current password' neither the old pass or leaving it blank works...

any ideas would be apprieciated

but i did find this if it helps anyone else ...

page 71 shows how to reset the jumpers or run a dos programme ... i cant see how i could run a programme in this state so it would have to be the jumpers ...

also page 96 shows how to move the ram board out of the way ... it seems to be just four plastic tabs that need to be opened ...

i didnt mention it was a Easynote ts 13hr
well ... suprisingly it worked , i crossed the four small solders (marked j1 and j2) each way with a screwdriver for a few seconds , replaced the ram and it booted without the password request! Big Grin i can now enter the bios again . needless to say i wouldnt have tried this if i hadnt had the manual ...

my problem now is the bios even with no passwords doesnt let you change the boot order ... their in the boot menu but greyed out and not selectable , ive never seen this before - surely theres some way of running a bootable cd .
