What happens if you put your new card? Is there a warning message or something like that?

Only on Windows, ubuntu works perfectly.

Then i think is not whitelisting problem, if you can work with it in ubuntu. There are some check in the bios against the wifi IDs but does not end in a loop if none match. I can change one to match your card if you want to try, but i think result will be the same.

I guess is some kind of incompatibility not whitelist related. Maybe something with plug and play... try anoter verison of the drivers... don't know....
