The flash utility seem to be different than the one that should be used for Z575 BIOS type. I'll try to find another.

I could not find any other utility for DOS. But I found an EFI application.

Do it with the following img and try flashing again. Ideapad_Z575_54CN20WW_EFI.zip
I just tried that out, thanks.  I get a BIOS.WPH read error followed by the text in red.  USB Legacy mode is enabled.
Please delete the startup.nsh file and boot from your flash drive again.
It looks like the flash drive wasn't mounted by Shell as a primary drive. Without startup.nsh, a list of devices should appear.
I just tried that, thanks.  It booted into the EFI shell and gave me a list of devices exactly as you said. 
fs0:
PFlash.efi /sa /bios BIOS.WPH

Now I see the error below, so not sure what to try next...

BIOS image do not support option (/ALL/BIOS/GBE/ME)!
PRESS ANY KEY TO EXIT
Try PFlash.efi /sa BIOS.WPH
Instead of

BIOS files for AMD platforms have only 1 region, so /bios flag must be removed.
