I know that cpu support on this mobo is very old topic.
This is my mobo.
http://www.dfi.com.tw/portal/CM/cmproduc...w?action=e&windowstate=normal&mode=view

Chipset on DFI is nf4 ultra.

I want "copy" the microcode to support am3 CPU, from some gigabyte motherboards.
For example:
http://www.gigabyte.pl/products/mb/specs...s3_20.html
GA-M52L-S3 on nForce 430, and I don't know that it will be match.

So microcode from nForce430 will be match to nF4 ultra?

And another question
For replace microcode motherboard I must replace " 2. CPU micro code 00800h(2.00K)00219h(0.52K)CPUCODE.BIN"
from this list.

1. XGROUP CODE 0E830h(58.05K)09AA0h(38.66K)awardext.rom
2. CPU micro code 00800h(2.00K)00219h(0.52K)CPUCODE.BIN
3. ACPI table 063B2h(24.92K)02132h(8.30K)ACPITBL.BIN
4. YGROUP ROM 0F530h(61.30K)04452h(17.08K)awardeyt.rom
5. GROUP ROM[ 0] 05FF0h(23.98K)02695h(9.65K)_EN_CODE.BIN
6. Other(40B5:0000) 01E00h(7.50K)00BD9h(2.96K)_ITEM.BIN
7. OEM0 CODE 0BA10h(46.52K)00579h(1.37K)BSMICODE.ROM
8. EPA LOGO 021B4h(8.43K)00378h(0.87K)INF_Series_small.bmp
9. PCI ROM[A] 0C000h(48.00K)06FFDh(28.00K)NVRAID.ROM
10. PCI ROM[B] 0E000h(56.00K)07455h(29.08K)NVPXES.NIC
11. Other(4067:0000) 035D9h(13.46K)0104Ch(4.07K)AGESACPU.ROM

Total compress code space = 59000h(356.00K)
Total compressed code size = 36926h(218.29K)
Remain compress code space = 226DAh(137.71K)

Actually, the nforce 430 chipset is based of the nf5, so no luck there. The microcode is not the only thing that needss replacing. The GV3 module, (AGESA) and the ACPITBL.BIN has to be replaced. Also, depending on where you take support from, you may also need to replace the the MEMINIT and HTDLL. The ACPITBL normally has to match the same chipset, and it is virtually non existent as an nf4 that has the AM3 support, even though asrock makes legacy nf3s that have it.

omg. so this is not easy.
have you got some "how to" about cpu support updates ?
Not exactly, as a lot of it depends on the system config. At least your one of the few who realize this is not easy. Was there a particular procceor you had in mind? Really though not a lot cana be done (although we can try) when you dont have same chipset stuff. But if you have a DUAL bios or methods of recovering from a bad flash we could do a bit of playing.
