Hello, im trying to flash my bios of my acer 7540G because i have a dead black screen.

I used crisdisk

3) Download crisdisk.zip
4) unzip this file on c:
5) rename your BIOS file to BIOS.WPH
6) put this file in the crisdisk project folder
7) Use crisdisk tool to create a bootable usb with the files phlash16.exe, minidos.sys and (your bios file) bios.wph will be created for you
8)Put this usb to your Acer.
9) Make sure your laptop has no battery, put in the AC-plug and hold the buttons 'Fn' and 'ESC'.
10) Push the power button, with the two other buttons still down.
11) If the power led start, release the 'Fn'and 'ESC' button.
12) If you're lucky, you'll hear lots of beeps.... Your computer will reset itself and start in Windows!! can take 5 to 10 minutes so be patient.

But when i do this nothing happens while pressing fn + ESC,.
And the files that wincris.exe put on my usb are all 0KB
So i hope some of you know a way to flash the bios of acer aspire 7540G

Thank you
I also tried making a boot usb with hp tool as in the sticky

4 ) Copy the BIOS.WPH ( original or modified ) to the USB drive and copy the PHLASH16.EXE as well ( provided in the previous link with the HP tool ) .

5 ) Boot from the USB drive and write this command after it boots :-

PHLASH16 /S /X /FORCE
then press ENTER .

After that my fan speeded up for a few minutes, and then a few beeps.
What does this mean ? was it succesfull ? still no screen
