Hello

I'd like to ask for whitelist (mostly wifi cards) this bios
http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/...uj06us.exe
(windows version)

Model manufac:
Lenovo
Model:
Thinkpad Edge S430 (3364)

Card to be added: PCI\VEN_168c&DEV_002a (all other subsyses)

Hello there,

I would like to edit the Whitelist on my S430 3364-57G from Lenovo.
If you have a good guide to do it myself, I'll try.
Of course it would be totally okay if you could do it
for me Smile

BIOS File: http://www.mediafire.com/download/jcwokk...uj11us.zip

BIOS Name: gauj11us
Old WWAN Card: USB\VID_0BDB&PID_1926&REV_0000
Old Wifi Card: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0888&SUBSYS_42628086&REV_C4
New Wifi Card: USB\VID_13D3&PID_3273&REV_0101
RSA Signed: NO

( Yes I get the stop message although it's a USB one :/ )

edit: added WWAN ID, maybe it's better to replace

Huge, thanks in advance.
Hey I replaced the HEX code DB0B2619 ( old WWAN ) with D3137332 ( new WLAN )
saved the .ROM file and then hit OK in Andy's Phoenix tool.

I got the modded .FL1 file now, the problem is that the flash tool says I am already on the newest version.
What do?

How do I properly use WinFlash64.exe? Command line I know, but what parameters?
I tried -help, but I am not familiar enough to make the right choices.

edit:

Okay there is a new BIOS ( gauj13us ) and I applied the patch to it, but now the modded bios doesn't passes the secure flash, what do?

Hi,

thanks for the reply, I don't want to be rude, but how does this help me?

I already have modded both bioses the 2.54er and 2.51er, my problem is
that I can't apply the modded bios.
Hi it's me again,

I tried svl7's prr.exe, but to no avail, when I flash in DOS
with the fpt tool I get erroe 28.

Can I trick the signature of the original lenovo flash
by jugling with some vendor and subsys numbers so
that the same Checksum comes out?

Try this: Lenovo_ThinkPad_S430_gauj13us_NWL
http://rghost.net/51125060
Update original bios at first, then after reboot, flash bios mod from DOS with USB-bootable. In DOS type flash.bat
Please post results.
