Bios has a signature check on startup that makes them currently unmoddable since changing them in anyway will result in a brick. This is how all newer HP RSA bios are
But we still can program bios chip with eeprom programmer right?
Just need bios file with proper size not that one HP offer on site.
The signature check is hardcodded into the bios code so that it verifies the integirty of the rom at start up. Programming it through any method wont remove this code.
But with older bios files I have not any problem. Just fill chip and all works.
Sorry for my knowledge.
I wrote "knowledge" but meant unknowledge!
Anyway, is any possibility that you have row bios file witch I can use?
[censored], forgot to say what bios I need...... HP 655 is problem.
I'm having some trouble understnding what your saying. Can you post a link to the bios your using?
