Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

I'm trying to install an Intel 7260 AC Dual band card rather than the default 7260 N Single band card. Stupid whitelists :-(

Yeah, same problem for me , got AC intel wifi card in ebay and unauthorized bios messy appeared...

I bought the Intel 7260NGW AC which was supposed to be an easy swap but instead I get the unauthorized NIC message. Very frustrating that this awesome laptop comes with such a crappy NIC considering all communication with it is wireless and then they won't even let you put something better in.

Note, the HiDPI screen seems to have impacted the screencaps in the rar file, I'll see if I can run the tool again with a lower resolution to see if that helps.

It froze my keyboard/mouse and gave me an Error 280. I had to do a hard reboot.

Just curious if there was an update on this. It seems we all got the same error messages like the 280 and the keyboard/mouse lockups when trying to run utility. Is there anything else we need to do? Thanks.
