I have a new Lenovo Thinkpad S540 and I would like install a WWAN-LTE (Sierra EM7345) , but he laptop don't start with the card..
I think its a problem with the whitlist.
Can someone help me with a modified bios?

The Bios ist Version 1.66.

Hello, can anybody help with whitelist removal of Lenovo s540 bios?
I found few old posts with answered requests for this model, there is no confirmation that it works, and all links are dead.

this is the newest bios:

I tried to folow the steps here to make it by myself:

but there is no BIOSCODx.ROM files in my unpacked bios and Endeer's phnxpatch says "no cydwin1.dll".

I would appreciate any help.

Hi, had to replace my wifi card and ran into the whitelist.
Can someone help me by removing it?
There were several other threads for this model but the links were dead.

PS: Running BACKUP_Tools12.exe showed some errors in the console (it flashed by a few times)

"PDR region does not exist"

"GBE Region does not exist"

Your bios is rewrite protected
You need a SPI-programmer+SOIC8 clip only
