Asus is reporting support up for AM3 processors on this board on their website:
http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=HGTVnGv5nGahCYgK&templete=2
Clicking the link however takes you to a download page for the 1401 BIOS not the 5005 version supporting the AM3's.
Ideas on how/where to download from??

Voila!
Works perfectly, AM2+ 5000+ works straight away. This is the Deneb 45nm based 5000+ so any AM2/AM2+/AM3 CPU up to and including the Phenom II X4's should work. X6's are not on the list.. yet. I have a 965 i could test out, but not being on the support list, I dont think this little board can take 125W + CPU's ?

Hey Guys,
I just upgraded from Athlon X2 5200 w/ bios 5005 to Phenom II X4 945.
The combo boots OK but I get strange random jibberish video artifacts when moving, opening or closing windows. This only occurs with screen resolution 1920x1200 (I have 24" monitor). If I drop the resolution or replace my old CPU (Athlon X2 5200) it goes away. Swapping the RAM for other memory doesn't help. I have also tried all combinations of DDR2-800/400 and Ganged/Unganged memory modes.
I am using the latest nvidia drivers provided by Windows Update under Windows 7 64bit.
Any ideas? I am wondering if the new bios has a higher clock for the 6150 and it just can't cope?
Jason

No help unfortunately. The latest WHQL driver is the same as the latest NVidia driver anyway, but I installed it from their site and no change.
It's peculiar that it's only at that res and only in 3d mode (i.e. with Aero enabled) -- drop the res and it's fine.

Hey Galapagos.
Use Fernando1's performance drivers from http://www.nforcershq.com/forum/win7-vis...70915.html
The last display drivers I used with the IGP were the oldish nforce 96.85
