Hello everyone

Could anyone help me find a v1.17 unlocked bios fore overclocking please.
im a bit of a noob but i will try help with any infomation you are needing from me

Hi longstaff,
I can try help You, but You have to try Recovery Procedure to be shure can recovery your laptop if something goes wrong !

Look here the procedure :

Your bios recovery name is JAT10X64.fd, is Acer Aspire 2930z v.1.17 original bios, so You can use the original included into the files I attached.
Included is a Readme.txt to explain how to Flash !

the bios has worked and its unlocked my advanced settings in bios screen only thing is there is no Overclocking featureis this to do with my cpu ?
Could that be unlocked or is it fixed to a chipset ?

Ok, nice, can You post some screen's shots menu (ex. Advanced CPU Control) to look for extra block and let You know !

Ok I found something and I will try to unlock, then post a new bios version.

I have to replace Tab Advanced with Power as I found some parameters overclocking into, but it's hidden and I can't unhidden it.
I don't know if it works and You may brick your laptop, so You are warned !
