Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

I apologize for my bad English
I had to remove the bios from the motherboard because I created a short circuit burning.
I purchased the new eeprom MX25L8005M2C,
I downloaded from acer, the bios 1.28.
The package contains the ROM for both Windows and for DOS.
In the folder I am JV50128.ROM dos and JV50128.WPH.
I assume that JV50128.ROM is the right one. WPH file instead is 4105Kb.
I tried to flash the file with spipgm JV50128.ROM but the size of the EEPROM is smallest. How so?

Bios updates only update certain regions of the bios chip and not the entire part. There's no reason to update the computer's UUID, serial number, etc; So they make the rom in the updates smaller.

ok thank you but if solder new eeprom empty, how do I reprogram it?

You'd have to have a dump from the original chip.
